“All lip shapes are attractive, but some need subtle, natural looking enhancement.”
Our lips are at their fullest in our 20s, which is why we associate a plump and defined mouth with youthfulness. But the composition of our lips and surrounding structures alters as part of the natural aging process. Sometimes the lips can be asymmetrical.
From between the ages of 30-40, factors such as sun damage (photodamage) gravity, genetics and smoking play a role, leading to a sad-mouthed or drooping appearance. Thin lips, dry lips, lipstick bleed lines and a flattened cupid’s bow will also culminate in a mouth that looks less defined.
